Hello everyone! BIG news....


🎉🎉I am turning my blog into a Books and Lifestyle blog...🎉🎉

My lovely book blog baby 'Locked Down with my Bookshelf' has had an upgrade and 'Reads and Ramblings' will now feature all my passions and crazy ideas. There will still be book reviews and other book content because my love for reading and the book blogging community is still just as strong, however, I've realised that I also enjoy researching and advocating for other topics and I'm really excited to do that!


I hope my current followers and regular readers will continue to support my blog and that lots of new faces will also join us as my new posts go live.

Hiya everyone... Long time, no see! I honestly do not know where this month has gone. It's nearly the end of July already and I've barely had time to notice it go by. However, I have now left my job and have the next 6 ish weeks to prepare for university. I have a biggg list of books to read and a chance to enjoy time with my family. With plenty of time for blogging thrown in too!  I am a huge classics fan and from the reading list I've already received for the first term of my degree, university is going to fuel my passion even more. Hello everyone.  🖤 My plan for June and every month going forward is to use my blog and my social media following to write and share posts about the Black Lives Matter movement and to use my passion for books to promote Black authors and educational books about racism and BLM.  I am willing to admit that I have read very little non-fiction about racism in the UK or US, police brutality or anti-racism, but I plan to buy and read as many as I can from now on.
